Support Local Art & Culture While Reaching A Wide Audience

Billion Dollar Industry

Pennsylvania’s outdoor recreation economy reached $20.4 billion in 2024, growing faster than the national rate and supporting more than 177,000 workers across the Commonwealth. Outdoor recreation retail grew 10% in 2024, with hunting, shooting, and trapping up 20% and boating and fishing up 11%. The Land Almanac reaches the readers driving that growth: people who spend money on gear, licenses, and experiences in this state.

Family Owned Farms

Lancaster County has 5,108 farms, 99% of them family owned, producing $1.5 billion in agricultural products annually. Lancaster Farmland Trust is on track to reach 125,000 acres of preserved farmland: roughly 32% of all agricultural-zoned land in the county. The Land Almanac is the only print publication speaking directly to that farming community and the people who care about it.

Preserved Farmlands

Pennsylvania leads the nation in the number of preserved farms, with nearly 49,000 farms contributing $132.5 billion to the state’s economy and supporting almost 600,000 jobs. Sponsors who align with The Land Almanac are aligning with that conservation tradition; and the audience that values it most.
